Just Because You Hit Menopause
Doesn't Mean You Have To Slow Down And Gain Weight!
It's All A Big Fat Lie!
• You can get fit - not fat and enjoy the best years of your life!
• By following a simple easy-to-do program in the privacy
of your own home, you can revolutionize the way you look, easily lose weight, and change your attitude forever.
• You won't need any fancy clothes or equipment, and you
can be finished in twenty minutes or less.
Dear Friend,
Hi, my name is Susan Blais, and that's pronounced blaze, like in a blazing fire.
I went through "the change" at 44, which is fairly early.

Susan Blais, 58, fit and fabulous
|
I'm now 58, and I'd have to say I'm a completely different person now...from
what I was then.
I was plagued with unbearable mood swings and bloated weight gain long
before I was 44. Then came the hot flashes, night sweats, and more weight
gain. I would sweat so hard at night I would soak the mattress, and actually
sweated through it a couple of times.
I was always groggy in the morning, and I felt jiggly, like I was jello, especially
around my hips, thighs, and my waist. I was never obese, but I was definitely
uncomfortable with my weight. I'm on the short side, 5 foot 4 inches tall, and the
fat didn't have many places it could hide.
I was tired all the time, even when I woke up.
I am sure many of you feel, or have felt, this very same way.
I was just a tad obsessive about my weight.
|
Is this beginning to sound very familiar?
I would get on the scale first thing in the morning.
My weight would be up a pound or so, and I would go ballistic.
I'd spend the whole day angry and upset.
And Katie bar the door if I was up two pounds!
(Which happened all too frequently.)
Then I would really help myself out...by eating a cheeseburger
and fries for lunch, followed by a mid-afternoon snack of a large
candy bar, and a generous helping of some ice cream.
The food would make me feel better for about ten minutes, then all
the Inner Demons would start squawking:
• "You're a loser!"
• "You can't control yourself!"
• "Look at how tight your clothes are!"
• "Your butt is HUGE!"
• "Everyone knows you have a problem!"
• You're really doing well on that diet!"
• You're already fat, what's another piece of cake going to hurt?"
Fear, depression, self-loathing, worthlessness
I lived with these monsters for years.
It got so I didn't want to stand in front of a mirror. I didn't want to
see how I looked in my clothes. I didn't want to be reminded that I
couldn't control my weight or appetite.
To all outward appearances I looked like I was in control, but a breath
of air would have broken me.
To make my obsession worse, I read everything I could get my hands on
about menopause and its effects. The conclusion of most of the "experts"
was that my body was slowing down, and I just had to accept the inevitable.
I read hundreds of books and articles that essentially all said the same thing.
This didn't do anything...except keep me digging a deeper hole.
Then I started dieting, and the end result of all my years of dieting...was
that my weight was up!
You name the diet, and I've been on it.
I have taken a bunch of diet pills. (Hey, they worked on the infomercial!)
Every angle I ever tried...ended in failure.
And every time I failed, which was often; the Inner Demons howled louder
and louder.
I almost gave up.
I almost began to believe that menopause was a life sentence without parole.
I almost began believing that menopausal women had to accept a lifetime
of being fat, bloated, and seriously depressed.
I was ready to go get a keg sized bottle of anti-depressants.
(Which you can get without any effort...just ask...and you shall receive...and
which would have made my problem much worse.)
I was ready to admit that all the "experts" were right, and that I should just
accept their advice, and get with "their program."
Except that "their program" has no answers at all.
It's a "do nothing" program that is guaranteed to put you on the shelf ...
long, long before you should be there.
Sitting in a chair at work, looking out the window, I decided that it was
all a big fat lie, and I was going to do something about it
No retreat, no surrender.
A good friend of mine once described herself to me as an "overweight,
middle-aged woman." I decided that I never wanted to be described in
that manner.
I decided right then and there...to take charge of my life!
I decided, in spite of all the so-called expert opinion; that I was going
to be vibrant, alert, smart, bursting with energy, and sexy ...to boot.
Why not?
And I'm not talking about spending hours and hours in a gym running on
a treadmill, using an elliptical machine, or Stair Master, until you're nothing
but sore and miserable.
Eating carrot sticks and celery until I gagged wasn't going to be part of
my routine either.
All the deprivation diets and their attendant miseries were out too.
Simple common sense
Most people don't use common sense because it gets drowned out in all
the diet and health noise. You can't take a step in any direction without
someone giving you advice on what you should do about your weight and
physical condition.
Not to mention that those 18 to 25 year old models...seen in all the health
and diet ads are at least...25 years...removed from menopause.
I'm not sure that it's even on their radar screen.
There are literally thousands of books, programs, and pieces of equipment
that promise to get the job done. But if you're even just a little bit like me,
you know that all that stuff is just so much smoke and mirrors.
None of the gazillion pieces of information out there deals with
post-menopausal women.
I made a plan to get myself on track, and I recorded all the common sense
things I did to get myself under control, feeling good, and looking good.
I recorded all the common sense physical and mental things I did to get
into a real honest to goodness comfort zone, and stay there.
Today I can say without any hesitation that I am living the best years of
my life.
Let me just repeat that.
Today I can say without any hesitation that I am living the best years of
my life.
All my phobias are gone.
I no longer have any physical problems, and my mind is clear and sharp.
You can easily make your post-menopausal years
the best of your life too!
You can look great, feel great, and get a completely new lease on life by making a few simple common sense changes in your life.
• You can be fit, trim, and sexy.
• You can rid yourself of the stress factors in your life.
• You can learn to control your appetite.
• You can stop closet eating.
• You can rid yourself of "hopeless case" syndrome.
• You can end yo-yo dieting.
You can rid yourself of the all too familiar laundry list of excuses why
good things can't happen for you.
Here's my own personal list of why I couldn't get the job done. See how many of these things pertain to you.
• Hormone problems
• Knee problems
• Foot problems
• Thyroid problems
• Food addictions
• Food allergies
• Food sensitivities
• Diet allergies
• Diet phobias
• Hypoglycemia
• Hyperglycemia
• Super Hyperglycemia
• No time to exercise
• Fear of failure
• Fear of success
• Fear of fear
• Attitude problems
• Family problems

|
• Relationship problems
• Money problems
• That inner voice that tells you you're not really worth it
|
How many times did you ring the bell?
At one time or another I rang all of those bells.
It's time to make some simple changes.
And not all at once.
It's just you and me talking now.
This isn't somebody else's problem.
It's yours.
And that's where we women have a problem.
We can fix everybody's problems but our own.
But you really can do this.
You really can fix yourself.
Despite all the naysayers, and all the negativity, and all the medical misinformation out there...you can change your whole physical, mental,
and spiritual outlook over the next few months.
You can have a major makeover that will leave you and your friends astounded!
And you're not doing it for someone else!
You are doing it for you!
Love begins at home.
As you love yourself, you can give love to others.
By giving yourself the right kind of food, rest, and exercise...you can fill
and refill your spiritual cup, having that much more to give to others when
they need it, because you know you can go back to the well endlessly.
Recently I saw a sign that said, "Ain't no shortcuts to anywhere worth goin'."
My program takes a minimum of time and effort, mostly in the brain area.
You can change your thinking about how you eat, and how you
move through your life.
I'm not going to tell you...like the endless infomercials...that you can
look great, feel great, and have a whole new lease on life with no effort
on your part.
But I will promise you...that if you make simple changes over the next few
months...you'll simply be astounded by the results.
Get with my program, Fit and Fabulous for the 50s and Beyond, and here's what you get:
1. YOU run the show, YOU'RE in charge.
2. You'll learn how to get control of your appetite.
3. You'll learn what to eat, and in what proportion.
4. You'll learn what to do if you make a mistake.
5. You'll learn that there are days you can eat
anything you want, and why it won't hurt.
6. You'll learn simple bodyweight exercises that
work; that you can do at home, with no fancy
equipment, personal trainers, or special clothes.
7. You'll end the feeling of being a victim of your
weight.
8. You'll start finding that you have more energy
than you thought possible.
9. You'll get stronger physically, mentally, and
spiritually.
10. You'll blow through the "menopausal fog" like a
speeding train.
11. With your clear head you'll acquire the confidence
to do anything you set your mind on.
12. You'll have poise you never thought you had.
13. When others talk about you they'll be using terms
like fit, energetic, and fabulous!

"Fit & Fabulous for the Fifties & Beyond is a unique fitness program, designed for the mature female. Drawing on both practical and mystical insights, this is a work from a woman who has lived through the many problems of this stage of life and emerged triumphant. Susan Blais has produced an outstanding effort that will shatter the 'glass ceiling' of women's personal development and physical fitness.
"As an orthopaedic surgeon, physician, bodybuilder and martial artist, I've been involved with training and fitness for well over 40 years. I have rarely seen a product so well integrated and so complete, to help you optimize your physical, mental and spiritual self, enhancing your overall health, as well as strength and flexibility.
"I've reviewed every word, every photo, every strategy and I can recommend it, without reservation. You NEED this program. Get it TODAY--and experience the benefits yourself!"

"Susan, I love your program. When I am not doing the exercises ... and trying the 24 hour fast ... I marvel at the vision you had in providing such a wonderful resource for us 'women of a certain age.' Thank you."

"Susan Blais' Fit & Fabulous for the Fifties & Beyond was a delightful read. I only wish I'd read it before I encountered many of the same issues in my own late forties and early fifties.
"Particularly compelling were the mental exercises (which I also believe are critical for success), and the use of 100% cost-free bodyweight exercises to become fit. Although I love my Pilates classes, I would recommend the easy-to-follow exercises in this book to anyone, especially if the cost of exercise classes or a gym membership is an issue. Plus, they're great for traveling, a busy schedule, or as an adjunct to other exercise types. All in all, this is a program I would definitely recommend to my patients."

"When I decided to take control of my fitness and health these exercises became the backbone of my daily routine. They got me thinking I could do more and I was right. I just finished the Hawaii Ironman 70.3 triathlon."

"The Fit & Fabulous for the Fifties & Beyond program is mistitled. It is for the 30-something or 40+ year-old woman who can't remember the last time that she felt great about her body, or who wonders whether she should finally donate to charity the 'skinny' jeans that she hasn't fit into in years. This book is a treasure-trove of insight into the emotional and physical factors that keep many women from achieving optimal emotional health and their best body.
"Although the focus is the 50-year-old plus, I wish that I had this book when I had my second child at age 32. The exercises can be done by a 48-year-old woman such as me who travels often on business (no equipment needed), or by the 32-year-old who cares for an infant and has no time for fancy gyms or workouts. Do you know a woman who is having a baby, getting married, getting divorced, retiring, turning 40, 50 or 60? Buy them a copy of this book! Thank you, Susan, for sharing your hard-won wisdom in this important program."

"Susan's book, Fit and Fabulous for the Fifties & Beyond, is the best piece of mail I ever received next to my income tax refund check. Unlike so many other people who overeat, I have spent the last 25 years of my life depriving myself of food, as a result of an abusive past. Susan's book showed me how to slow down a little, and taught me how to engage in moderation. I began to use her techniques of visualization, to picture how I wanted to feel, look and act and then behave accordingly. Susan's book helped me face my feelings and deal with them, so I could begin to regain control.
"I also practiced the act of forgiveness as Susan suggests, and little by little I am reprogramming my brain, and refusing to let what others did to me define who I am. I sometimes read Susan's book two or three times a day, sometimes just one or two lines at a time, when I need encouragement or reinforcement. I do some of the exercises in her book (love the Hindu squats, side leg lifts and mountain climbers), because when I exercise, I feel strong and healthy. Knowing that Susan was out of control and turned her life around gives me inspiration to eat healthy, exercise and gradually heal my mind and body. This is so much more than an exercise program, it's a way to get healthy inside and out, and helps you make the most of life."

"You are performing such a great service for women our age through this program. I was really sick a few years ago and the way back has been long and slow. I've been doing your exercises little by little and can feel my strength coming back every day. Thank you for developing this program for women like me who need to get in shape gently and at their own pace."

"Susan, congratulations. Your book, Fit & Fabulous for the Fifties and Beyond, is an awesome and impressive accomplishment. What a gift you have given other women. So much of what you wrote rang loud and clear and true for me. I have been on a parallel path... and appreciate so much what you have done and how you have articulated it all.
"I was especially blown away by the simplicity of the fitness ideas and the execution; no fancy equipment, no expensive gym membership - just thoughtful, well illustrated exercises that make sense for a real woman's body. No more excuses; thank you for the tremendous insight and inspiration."

"Fit and Fabulous for the Fifties and Beyond is bright, clear, to the point, funny, and useful. I can already see that it's going to help me. I look forward to reading more, and trying the exercises. Will have to go gently due to physical limitations.
"It's neat that you refer to Psycho-Cybernetics. It was a book my Dad said had helped him, and he gave to me back in the 1960s. I've pulled it out to read again."
Liz Clarke

"I'm so impressed with how fit and fabulous you are for your age: you're in such great shape. You are an inspiration to us all and I'm getting into better shape by following your program."
Marilyn Swadener
Templeton, CA
"I love your program and the way you have developed the lead-in exercises so I can go at my own pace. Sometimes it's discouraging to see women who are so much stronger than me, but I know I'll get there by using your program. It's helping me to get a little stronger every day."
Maureen Cerf
Petaluma, CA
"I have learned some things I needed to learn from your e-mails. I saw my doctor. I am 77 years young and quite active, I've been losing four to five pounds a month and only have three to go to weigh what my doctor says I should weigh. I just want to say a big Thank You to you and bless you, be well!"
Georgeane
"I am very impressed by the entire Fit and Fabulous for the Fifties and Beyond program. It is so approachable and the information is honest, real and doable; the visualization CD motivated me more than past efforts and I am finally charting a sustained 'take care of me' course. It is a great help to me and I'm sure will be for many women who want to feel and look their best during this time of their lives."
Kae Hammond
La Quinta, CA
"I have studied your book and I must say it is very well done. The writing is clear, easy to understand without being simple. I know how hard it can be to write descriptions, like describing how to do an exercise, and you've got this mastered.
"In so many ways, I can see that this book really brings together certain strands that have run throughout your life, such as the spirituality especially, how to be fit and healthy, and that ability to coach and inspire people that you have always had. This book will help many women make the most of their 50-plus years."

It's time to get a grip on yourself and be all you can be NOW!
There is no reason to suffer in frustration because all your previous efforts ended in failure!
You didn't have the information you really needed.
It simply makes me cringe to see the thousands and thousands of pages of absolute
rubbish being sold to women everyday.
There is a "secret code" to true fitness, but you won't find it in any fitness magazines, or in any of the wacky diet books on the market.
My simple common sense program will show you how to get smarter, more vibrant, leaner and sexier
than you ever thought possible.
99.9% of all the fitness information for pre-menopausal and post-menopausal women is total and absolute rubbish!
More than that, it is junk science, and unsustainable.
The fitness industry and the weight loss industry are absolutely ripping you off.
They don't care because they make huge money while you yo-yo. They have
you coming and going, and not only that...they have you believing it's your fault.
It's time to "Just say no!"
• I'm not going to tell you to sit in a sauna or steam room for an hour a day.
• I won't tell you you have to become a vegan, or a vegetarian, or a fruitarian.
• I won't be promising you that I can eliminate all the junk in your trunk in 14 days flat, and you'll be walking on the red carpet.
• I am never going to claim that losing weight is effortless.
• I'm not going to sell you any diet pills or exercise equipment.
• You won't hear me say that if you eat only "miracle foods" you'll lose weight.
• You won't hear me shill for any drug company.
• I won't ask you to starve.
• I won't ask you to exercise hours a day.
|
Here's what you get in my simple, common sense program,
Fit and Fabulous for the 50s and Beyond.
I've spent over a year cataloguing and recording all my secrets so that you can now follow my program and get results that have eluded you in the past.
1) The Food Program and Bodyweight Exercise Book.
This is where I do show and tell. There is a right way
to eat, and a wrong way. I'll tell you what to eat, when,
and you'll be amazed at how fast the pounds begin to melt off. The bodyweight exercises are simple, and can
be done anywhere. All you need is you, and six square feet of clear space. I have done the exercises in hotel rooms, and even on a cruise ship when I travel, so there aren't any excuses why you can't get them done. And...they only take a few minutes.
2) An audio CD of visualizations for Appetite Control. This is how you alter your mindset...and go from failure to freedom. Fat loss starts in the mind, and I'll
help you to retrain your brain to get maximum results.
3) A DVD Demonstration of Exercises.
I'll show you just how to do the bodyweight exercises, and remember, I'm 58 years old, not some 19 year old chickadee. I'll show you how to get started at any level,
whether you're already exercising or a raw beginner.
You can keep battling away on your own, trying to make sense of the never ending barrage of weight loss fads that come roaring off the assembly line. You can scratch your head in confusion as one "expert" says you should do one thing, while another tells you to do the exact opposite.
I did this for a long time.
It resulted in: NO RESULTS!
If you want get into the best shape of your life...you are not going to get it done by repeating what hasn't worked for you in the past.
The price for my program is just $99.00.
You could easily spend that on a bottle or two of worthless supplements. (I have.)
That may get you one session with a personal trainer.
It might cover the first month of a gym membership.
But supplements and gym memberships don't get the job done.
And these days, just buying the gas to get back and forth to the gym could cost you a fortune!
What do you have to lose but your flabbiness and crabby-ness?
Try the program and find out for yourself!
Order my program right now and try it. You'll begin to see and feel the results right away.
Don't let another day go by without taking control of your body and your mind, so you can make these years the best of your life!
Respectfully,
Susan Blais
P.S. In another 12 months you'll be another year older no matter what.
Will you be another year wiser?
Fitter or fatter?
Sexy or frumpy?
Confident or fearful?
Lean or looney?
Springy or sprung?
Please don't tell me you're too busy, that you don't have time.
As an eighty year old woman told me recently, "if you don't make the time, you won't get any more time."
I run three businesses, two households, have a busy husband and an active spiritual and social life. But without developing this program for myself years ago, none of this would be happening.
I'd just be sitting around watching the soaps and feeling sorry for myself. Put down the magazines, throw away the diet books, get off the couch,
and get moving! Give yourself the chance to feel and look like you've always wanted to
NOW!
